workfinds.app compared with LinkedIn Jobs
LinkedIn Jobs is a job search inside a professional network. workfinds.app is only a job board: it collects open jobs from company career sites and applicant tracking systems and sends you to the employer to apply. Here the two are set side by side, including where LinkedIn is the better choice.
workfinds covers the employers whose career sites and applicant tracking systems it reads: 1,374,597 open jobs today from 40,266 company sites. It does not list every job posted anywhere.

What workfinds does differently
- You always apply on the employer's own site: workfinds never holds your application.
- Work arrangement, location and salary come from the fields the source provides, never from guesses based on the description. A job whose source states no work arrangement is shown as "Work arrangement not specified" and counted as Unknown on the stats page.
- The remote jobs pages for a country list first the jobs whose source names that country as a country you can work from, then those open worldwide or across a region that includes it, with the counts of each.
- No ads and no third-party trackers, and the site analytics use no cookies. We never sell ranking: results are ordered by relevance and recency.
- The tracker is kept on your device, and the resume check reads your file on your own device; a resume is stored with your account only if you choose to save it.
Where LinkedIn Jobs is the better choice
- Easy Apply: LinkedIn can submit an application without leaving the site, where workfinds always sends you to the employer’s own site.
- Messaging: LinkedIn lets you contact people outside your network with InMail credits; workfinds has no messaging at all.
- More alerts at once: LinkedIn allows up to 20 job alerts; a free workfinds account has 1 saved search and Pro has 5.
- Reach: workfinds covers the employers whose career sites and applicant tracking systems it reads, and does not list every job posted anywhere. If a job is not here, it may still be on LinkedIn.
Questions
Is workfinds an alternative to LinkedIn Jobs?
For the job search, yes: workfinds lists open jobs from employers' own career sites and sends you to them to apply. It is not an alternative to LinkedIn's network, profiles or messaging, which workfinds does not have.
Does workfinds apply to jobs for me?
No. "Apply on source site" takes you to the employer's own posting, and you apply there. workfinds has no application form of its own and sends no applications for you.
Where do the jobs on workfinds come from?
Public listings on company career sites, applicant tracking systems and reviewed job boards; every job links to its original posting.
How does workfinds decide if a job is remote?
Work arrangement, location and salary come from the fields the source provides, never from guesses based on the description. A job whose source states no work arrangement is shown as "Work arrangement not specified" and counted as Unknown on the stats page. Filters for remote, hybrid and onsite work use those fields only, and jobs with no stated arrangement are left out of an arrangement filter unless you choose to include them.
Is workfinds free?
Searching and reading jobs is free and needs no account. A free account adds job alerts (1 saved search and 1 followed company, in a weekly digest), a tracker for up to 10 jobs on your device and autofill in the browser extension. Pro is not on sale yet; it will add the resume check, unlimited job tracking with sync and daily alert digests.
