Frequently asked questions
What is workfinds.app?
workfinds.app is a job search site. It collects open jobs, remote, hybrid and onsite, from company career sites and the applicant tracking systems they use, and puts them in one place to search and filter.
Where do the jobs come from?
From public listings on company career sites, applicant tracking systems, and reviewed job boards. Every job links to its original posting.
How do I apply for a job?
"Apply on source site" takes you to the employer's own posting, and you apply there. workfinds.app does not send applications for you and has no application form of its own.
A job is gone or its details look wrong. Why?
Listings change at their source, and we check them regularly, so a job can close or change before the site shows it. Always confirm the details on the original posting before you apply. Work arrangement, location and salary come from the fields the source provides, not from guesses based on the description, so some jobs show less than others.
Is it free? What does Pro add?
Searching and reading jobs is free and needs no account. A free account adds job alerts: 2 saved searches and 1 followed company, in a weekly digest.
Pro is not on sale yet. It will add daily alerts with up to 25 jobs per search, 5 saved searches and 20 followed companies, the application tracker with its funnel, an alert when a job you track closes, the resume check, and autofill for job applications through our browser extension. Pro will be available in our Android and iPhone apps, and it will also work here when you sign in with the same account. See Pro.
Do I need an account?
No. You need one only for job alerts, followed companies and saved resumes, and for Pro features. You sign in with Google, Microsoft or Apple, or with a link sent to your email address; there is no password to remember.
How do job alerts work?
Save a search on the jobs page, or follow a company. Alert emails have not started yet; when they do, new matching jobs will come to you by email in a digest. You choose your timezone and how often on the Alerts page, and every email will have a link to stop it.
What do you know about me?
Without an account, very little: there are no ads and no third-party trackers, and the site analytics use no cookies. With an account we keep what you save, so the features you use can work. The privacy policy lists all of it, who processes it for us, and how long we keep it.
Does the resume check upload my resume?
No. The check reads your file on your own device, and a file you check and do not save stays there. A resume is stored with your account only if you choose to save it.
How do I delete my account?
On the Account page. For 30 days you can sign in again to cancel the deletion; after that your account data and saved resume files are deleted. The privacy policy has the details.
I am an employer. How do I change or remove a listing?
Listings follow the original posting: when you change or close it at the source, it changes or closes here after our next check. To have a listing or all of your listings removed sooner, write to support@workfinds.app; we act on removal requests promptly.
I run a website or a job platform. What does your crawler do?
Our crawler reads public job listings only, at a low rate, and never signs in. It identifies itself by name and links to this page. Anyone can copy a crawler's name, so if you see requests under ours that do not fit this description, write to us and we will check our records. To have a listing or all of a company's listings removed, to ask for a different request rate, or to stop the crawler, write to support@workfinds.app. We act on removal requests promptly.
Who runs workfinds.app?
workfinds.app is run by kevinesg.dev, an independent developer based in the Philippines, who keeps its operating costs as low as practical. Cloud data services, storage, and the application server still have ongoing costs. The privacy policy says who is responsible for your data.
How do I reach you?
